PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR

Technimove are the leading server migration specialists for IT transformational services and office move consultants. We organise and manage UK-based and international relocations, data centre migrations and transport services, primarily for servers, comms and storage equipment. Technimove also provides professional IT services facilitating business transformation for critical environments, applications and virtualised/cloud based technologies and digital transformation strategies.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Professional Services Department for a full time Project Support Administrator. As a key member of this team, you will be assisting across the department with  programme & project managers and project coordinators with their assigned projects. The Project Support Administrator will be responsible for assisting and supporting various aspects of the project life cycle, working across the team, with customers and internal departments in order to deliver a project migration to an agreed plan and timescale. The position is ideally suited to someone with an administrative background using their experiences gained in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • To assist project managers/coordinators with customer liaison & contact
  • Assist with replying to e-mails in the project managers/project coordinator assignments
  • Assist project managers/project coordinators and team with admin tasks, such as printing labels/patching schedules
  • Attend conference calls and record information, including minutes
  • Distrubite project planning information and documentation externally and internally
  • Control project planning schedules, assignments, updates and closure details
  • Document and distribute project timelines & tasks according to project plan scheduling
  • Document, control and coordination of project run book tasks
  • Complete post project closure customer feedback processing & updates
  • Confirm post project closure tasks on chargeable items and over overall profit & loss summaries
  • Maintain and control project RAG and Risk status reports across the professional services department
  • Working closely with the Operations Department and field service teams

 

Skills Required:

  • Strong experience using MS Office suite of programmes, Word/XL/PowerPoint/Project
  • Excellent customer communication or customer facing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in complex and changing environments
  • Knowledge, use or exposure to Prince2 or project management methodologies
  • At least 1 year of project or supportive administration experience
