Technimove are attending DCD London

Data Centre Dynamics are touring the technical hotspots of the world, with 24 events taking place throughout 2018. This years London event has been attracting big name attendees and speakers, which is why Technimove will be attending DCD in London this year.

The 2-day event is free to attend and is a combination of trade show, seminars, roundtables and professional networking. DCD conferences operate on 8 ‘tracks’ – which are essentially areas of IT specialism, to allow technology professionals to focus their time and energy on the companies, information and activities that interest them most. The 8 tracks at DCD>London 2018 are:

  • Design + Build
  • Colo + Cloud
  • Networks + Interconnect
  • Power + Cooling
  • Security + Risk
  • Servers + Storage
  • Automation + Control
  • Open-Data Centre

It won’t surprise you to hear that Technimove employees have highlighted Colo + Cloud, Power + Cooling and Servers + Storage as key areas they are planning to take in. The only way that Technimove can ensure that we are constantly improving our own services is to review the latest developments and consider when and how we can utilise this technology into our own offering.

Not every speaker has been announced yet, in fact the titles from those that have been confirmed won’t even be made available until later in the year. However, we can already see that some great speakers have been lined up including David Spurway of IBM, Susanna Klass, Mehmet Ackin of Yahoo!, Mohamed Shawky of Deutsche Bank, Oyvind Bakksjo and Dean Nelson from Uber. As you can see, the lineup is dominated by Chief Technology Officers and innovative IT professionals who live and breath technology.

We’ve heard that due to the outstanding knowledge of the professionals attending that a highlight of the events tends to be the roundtables. These provide fascinating stages for debate and allow us to see the thinking behind the innovative professionals, for others who’d prefer a more personal networking model there are also more traditional and even speed networking options available to ensure that you are making the right connections whoever it is that you’re looking for in the IT industry.

DCD>London 2018 is already shaping up to be an amazing event, so if you’re interested in coming along to see us on the day (or many of the other fantastic companies who will be attending) then remember you can pick up tickets for free as an attendee.
