Ranked 24th in Fortune’s Global 500 list of 2006, Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT Group, NYSE: NTT) is the world’s largest provider of telecommunications services.
NTT is dedicated to meeting the communication needs of its growing number of global customers. Their technical expertise provides high-performance, resilient services, backed up by excellent customer service.
With many projects undergone and successfully completed by Technimove, we were contacted by the NTT Spanish division to assist with migrating equipment across Europe.
We were required to assist with two projects. Project 1 was to collect server equipment from Slough and deliver to Frankfurt. Project 2 was to collect server equipment from Madrid and deliver to Frankfurt. A schedule was prepared and forwarded to the Project Manager in Spain.
We were then given a 24 hour notice period for both projects to commence. However due to the notice period and time restraint on delivering the equipment we suggested to NTT that we complete the project in 1 phase.
Due to the criticality of the servers to their company, we proposed to:
Collect from Slough on day 1, collect from Madrid day 2 and deliver all equipment in Frankfurt on day 3.
The Project Manager was pleased with our proposal and appreciated our flexibility at such short notice
The project commenced on time at Slough at 09:00 am on a Monday morning. The team arrived the next day in Madrid. With the day to re-cooperate the team collected the equipment from Madrid that evening and arrived in Frankfurt on Wednesday ahead of schedule early afternoon.
Technimove is accustomed to meeting stringent customer requirements. With careful planning the project was successfully executed.
Technimove are a server relocation company who also specialize in Data Centre Auditing, IT Recycling, Data Centre Migration and It Asset Management.
